Prestigious game at Roazhon Park

Context

I have always grown up watching football since childhood and it has always been a dream to watch a game in Europe always. My dream came true in Rennes when I visited Stade Rennais to watch the game between Paris Saint Germain vs Stade Rennais.

I had arrived at the stadium at 11:30 in the afternoon for the match set to begin at 13:00. The atmosphere outside the stadium was crazy and it is something that I will never forget. The excitement of the game was even higher because of Messi’s arrival at PSG. Stade Rennais is situated very close to the city centre and it was quite easy to get there. The stadium is quite well organised and you can find your way to the stadium easily.

The stadium was quite impressive the moment I entered and it was already an unbelievable atmosphere. The stadium was fully packed and all the fans were always entertained in different ways inside the stadium. The match between Paris Saint Germain and Stade Rennais has always been of high standard over the past couple of years. There was tremendous support for Rennes as it was a home team but also the PSG fans were supporting their team without stopping for 90 minutes.

On the pitch, both the teams started out quite well and both the teams were attacking. Stade Rennais players were giving everything on their pitch against one of the best teams in the world. However, after a PSG started dominating and created so many chances but failed to score. Towards the end of the Second half, Stade Rennais got one chance and they made sure they capitalised it and went on to lead 1-0 at halftime. The moment the second half started Stade Rennais Scored the Second goal and then PSG was not able to get into the match.

The experience throught the game is something that I can’t describe in words. Even after the game, the atmosphere outside the stadium was crazy. The fans gathered together and there was a celebration right outside the stadium. The weekend ended on a perfect note and it could not have been any better.
